Bookings only happen in opening hours
Most people decide they need a cut at nine in the evening. If the only way to book is to ring you tomorrow, half of them never do.
Foundation Who we build for Salons & barbers
Your chair is empty on a Tuesday and your phone rings while you have your hands in someone's hair. We build the site that fills the chair and the booking system that stops you answering the phone at all.
The bit that hurts
Every salon owner we have built for describes the same three hours a week: taking bookings by phone, rewriting the book, and texting the people who did not turn up.
Most people decide they need a cut at nine in the evening. If the only way to book is to ring you tomorrow, half of them never do.
An empty chair on a Saturday is money you will never get back. Without a deposit there is nothing stopping somebody forgetting entirely.
Two stylists, one book, and a queue at the desk. Someone always writes over someone else, and nobody can check tomorrow from home.
It is a great shop window and a terrible booking system, and it does not appear when someone searches for a balayage in your town.
An example site
A salon site is judged in two seconds on whether the place looks like somewhere you would sit for three hours. This example goes for editorial luxury, and books straight from the header.
Ivy & Iron is a fictional salon. This is a working example site — click through it.
What we build for you
Everything below is in the booking system we already build. It is not a plugin bolted onto a template — the site and the diary are the same thing.
Service, stylist, time. The system knows how long a full head of highlights takes and will not let it be squeezed into forty minutes.
Take £10 to hold a Saturday slot and watch no-shows fall off a cliff. Refunded automatically if they cancel in time.
A text the day before and an email when they book. No one sits down on a Friday to send them.
Everyone sees the same day. Holiday, training days and a stylist who does not do colour are all handled without a phone call.
A cancelled slot gets offered to the waitlist automatically, so the gap fills itself while you are working.
Formula, timings and what they said last time, on the record. New stylist, same result.
The system behind it
Five steps, real availability, a deposit and a confirmation — the same flow we build for salons, clinics and studios. Click through it and try to double-book yourself; it will not let you.
Ashcroft Physio · a fictional business, but a genuinely working booking flow.
How it goes
The site and the booking go live together, because a salon site without booking is half a job. Your prices, services and stylists go in before launch.
Services, timings, stylists, prices and how you like your day to run.
Real link, real booking, on your phone, before you have paid for anything beyond the deposit.
Services, durations, stylists, holidays and deposit rules, set up with you rather than handed over as a blank system.
It runs itself. We are on the end of the phone when you want a price changed or a new treatment added.
Sound like your week?
Tell us what eats it — you'll have a fixed price back today, usually within the hour.
Where we work
Nobody searches for a hairdresser in general. They search for a hairdresser in their town, and often for one treatment. Every site gets pages built around exactly that.
On your doorstep
We're in Windlesham, and we'll come to you — a coffee and a whiteboard beats a video call. Anywhere within twenty miles, plus the whole of London.
And everywhere else
We build for salons across the UK and beyond. The booking system does not care where the chair is, and the whole build works over a call.
What it costs
A salon website starts at £250. Online booking with deposits, reminders and per-stylist diaries is quoted free.
Or £220 up front and £19 a month — we host it, back it up nightly and keep the certificate valid. Compare both →
Get my priceNothing gets built until you've seen the price, and the price doesn't move afterwards. If it takes us longer than we thought, that's our problem, not your invoice.
Quick answers
The website starts at £250, or £220 up front plus £19 a month hosted and looked after. Online booking is quoted free and priced on what it does — you get one fixed number in writing before anything is built.
Deposits are the thing that works, and they are built in. Take a small deposit to hold a slot, refunded automatically if they cancel in time, and no-shows drop sharply.
Yes. Services, durations, skills, working days and holidays are all per stylist, and the system will not offer a slot that cannot actually be worked.
No. It is a web page on their phone. No app, no account to create unless they want one, no friction between wanting an appointment and having one.
Of course — you add them to the same diary, and the system stops the two from clashing. Nothing forces a client online.
Deposits and prepayment go through Stripe. If you want a full till with product stock as well, that is the sort of thing we build — ask and we will quote it.
Answered?
Two fields and a tap. You'll hear back from a real person, usually today.
