Foundation Who we build for Heating & air con

Websites that quote
for heating and air con.

Every enquiry starts with how much, and every survey you drive to for a job that was never in budget is half a day gone. Put a real, itemised price range on the page and the enquiries that arrive have already agreed the number.

The bit that hurts

Half your surveys
were never going to buy.

Installation is a quoting business with a driving problem. The money leaks at both ends: enquiries that were never in budget, and quotes that go quiet.

01

“Roughly how much?”, forty times a week

Answered by hand, every time, and half of them stop replying the moment they hear the number. That conversation should have happened on the website.

02

Driving to surveys that go nowhere

An hour there, an hour back, and a customer whose budget was always half the job. Nothing on your site filtered them out.

03

Coverage nobody can work out

Installation goes further than call-outs, and your website says neither. So you field calls from ninety miles away and miss the ones ten minutes down the road.

04

Quotes that go quiet

Sent, opened, never answered. Most installers never send the follow-up, and that is where a serious share of the year's work goes.

An example site

A site that gives
the number.

This example puts a genuinely working estimator on the front page. Pick the job, answer eight questions, and get an itemised range with the crew, the timescale and what is and is not included — without handing over an email address.

Halden Heating & Cooling is a fictional business. The estimator is real — work through it.

What we build for you

Quote it before
you drive to it.

The estimator on that example is the thing worth having. Everything else supports it.

01

A price book, not a contact form

Your actual rates, by appliance, system type, property size and extras. Change a figure in one place and the whole site re-prices itself.

02

Coverage checked by postcode

Installation goes one distance, call-outs another. The site says which applies to the person reading it, on the spot, and prices the travel band in.

03

An itemised breakdown

Not one number. The appliance, the conversion work, the extras and the area uplift, each on its own line, so the customer arrives understanding the price rather than arguing with it.

04

Enquiries that arrive qualified

The person who sends the summary through has already seen the range and accepted it. Your survey diary stops filling with people who were never buying.

05

Quotes chased automatically

The formal quote goes out after the survey, and if it goes quiet the system nudges — politely, on your schedule, without you being the one to ask.

06

Jobs, engineers and certificates

Once it is won: the diary, the crew, the commissioning paperwork, Building Control notification and the warranty registration, all against the job.

The system behind it

And the job side
behind it.

The quote is the front half. This is what the won job runs on — engineers, diary, parts and the invoice that chases itself.

An example system — every name and figure invented for this page.

How it goes

First working build
in 72 hours.

Installers almost always start with the estimator, because it pays for itself in saved survey days inside a month.

01

A call about your prices

How you price a boiler, what moves the number, and where your coverage actually stops. That is the brief.

02

A working estimator in 72 hours

On a real link, with your figures in it, so you can try to break it before anybody sees it.

03

Your price book loaded

Appliances, brands, conversions, extras and travel bands, entered with you rather than handed over empty.

04

Then the job side

Diary, engineers, certificates and invoicing, added once the enquiries are arriving.

Quick answers

Installer questions,
answered straight.

How much does an installer website with an estimator cost?

The website starts at £250 built and handed over, or £220 up front plus £19 a month hosted and maintained. The estimator and job management are quoted free and priced on what they do.

Will putting prices on my site lose me work?

It loses you the enquiries that were never going to buy, which is not the same thing. The installers we build this for report fewer enquiries and more jobs, because the survey diary stops filling with people whose budget was half the job.

Can it handle my actual price book?

Yes — appliance by appliance, brand by brand, with conversions, extras and travel bands. It is a price book, not a slider, and you can change any figure without ringing us.

Does it work for air conditioning as well as boilers?

Both, as separate flows with their own questions. The example site runs four: new boiler, air conditioning, emergency call-out and general plumbing.

Does it check whether I cover the customer?

Yes, by postcode, and it can apply different answers for installation and for call-outs — which is how most firms actually work.

What happens to the estimate the customer builds?

Nothing is sent until they choose to. They get a reference, a breakdown and a copy-or-email button, so the enquiry that reaches you already contains every answer they gave.
