How much is a consultation?
A standard 20-minute consultation is £58, and that is the figure on the estimator above. Out of hours it is higher, because there is a full team in the building overnight rather than an answering service.
Do you have your own out-of-hours?
Yes. Nights, weekends and bank holidays are covered by our own vets in this building, so your pet's notes are already on the screen when you arrive.
Can I get an estimate before I come in?
That is what the estimator above is for. It gives a real range for routine work and for the common reasons an animal is unwell, without asking for your email.
Do you take pet insurance directly?
For most major insurers, yes — we can claim direct so you only pay the excess. We will tell you honestly before the work whether your policy is likely to cover it.
Are you taking new registrations?
Yes, and it is free. Bring whatever history you have and we will request the rest from your previous practice.
What if my pet needs a specialist?
We refer, and we tell you when we should. We would rather send you somewhere better than keep the work in-house.
