The ones that decide it

How much does it cost to get married here?
Venue hire is £5,900 for a peak Saturday and £3,400 off-peak, with catering, drinks and accommodation on top. The calculator above builds the whole figure so you can compare us properly.
Is catering included?
No, and we show it separately on purpose. You choose from four caterers we trust, and you pay them directly at their price rather than ours with a margin on it.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes, with a corkage charge that is stated in the calculator. Plenty of venues will not let you, and the ones that will often do not say what it costs.
How many can you seat?
140 seated under the beams for the wedding breakfast, and 220 standing in the evening. If you are over that we will tell you honestly rather than squeeze you in.
Do you do more than one wedding a day?
Never. One wedding, exclusive use, noon until midnight. It is why we have fewer dates and why nobody is ever asked to leave early.
What is the deposit?
Twenty per cent to hold the date, the balance eight weeks before. The full payment schedule is written into the contract and it does not change.
